Dr. Marianne Haines is a magna cum laude graduate of University of Utah where she obtained a Master of Science degree as a Nurse Practitioner in Neonatology. She completed Neonatal NP residency training at Primary Children's and University of Utah hospitals. She is a summa cum laude graduate of California State University where she obtained her first post masters degree as a Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist. She completed Pediatric residency training at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), Providence Holy Cross, and Saint Joseph hospitals. She is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of South Alabama where she completed a second post masters degree in the Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specialty and also completed her Doctorate Nurse Practitioner degree. She completed her psychiatric residency in California at Ventura County Behavioral Health outpatient clinics and the Casa Pacifica residential treatment center.
Marianne is passionate about improving patient care through a holistic approach, integrating psychiatry within primary care and hospital settings. She developed an evidence-based program that was proven to reduce precursor symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder in NICU parents. As the Director of Women's Services at Dignity Health in Glendale, CA, she implemented a postpartum depression screening program for new mothers and currently serves as a consultant on the Maternal Mental Health Now project in Los Angeles, CA.
Dr. Haines has over 25 years of clinical experience, the majority of which has been spent treating children. She is nationally board-certified in the Neonatal, Pediatric, and Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nursing specialties. In both clinical and residential treatment settings, Marianne has worked extensively with children and adolescents suffering from a variety of traumas and mental health disorders. These experiences include providing medical and therapeutic interventions, coordinating with primary care physicians, medical specialists, child and family service agencies, and the juvenile justice system. Dr. Haines maintains a clinical practice and affiliation at UCLA in addition to her practice at Noetic.
